For weeks ABC joined other mainstream media outlets and the Democrats acting as if they were China’s coronavirus apologist, claiming that President Trump was trying to distract America with his outlandish claim that China was trying to cover-up the COVID-19 pandemic.
After weeks of denial during Sunday’s Good Morning America, ABC finally admitted what many people had already known about long ago.
That communist China had covered up the emergence and spread of the coronavirus. But Sunday’s report came with the backup of a “blistering” U.S. intelligence assessment, as reported by correspondent Rachel Scott.
“This morning, U.S. intelligence officials are accusing China of a coronavirus cover-up. A new report from the Department of Homeland Security, obtained by ABC News, claims the Chinese government intentionally concealed the severity of COVID-19 in early January,”
Scott explained at the top of her report.
Scott even appeared to, shockingly, throw the World Health Organization (WHO) under the bus for spreading China’s misinformation, stating:
During that time, officials say China was also building out its own stockpile of medical supplies. And took steps to protect it. On January 14th, the WHO shared this tweet, saying China saw “no evidence of human-to-human transmission” of coronavirus.
Of course, this was something many people had already understood to be true.
Chinese Coronavirus Propagandists
For weeks, the liberal mainstream media (MSM) were clutching their pearls about President Trump referring to the Coronavirus as the Wuhan and/or Chinese virus.
They also completely melted down after President Trump announced he was cutting funding to the World Health Organization (WHO) until an investigation was completed into their role in helping spread Chinese propaganda.
The W.H.O. really blew it. For some reason, funded largely by the United States, yet very China centric. We will be giving that a good look. Fortunately I rejected their advice on keeping our borders open to China early on. Why did they give us such a faulty recommendation?

Facebook and Instagram allowed Chinese Coronavirus Propaganda Ads Blaming Trump to be placed on their sites without any disclaimer warning readers that this was a political ad posted by China.
Chinese state media flooded the two social media sites with undisclosed political adverts whitewashing its role in the coronavirus pandemic and pinning blame on Donald Trump.
Three official news outlets – Xinhua, China Central Television and the Global Times –targeted users across the world with promoted stories in English, Chinese and Arabic.
Of course, then there were Democrats such as Hillary Clinton who acted as if China was paying them to be their American public relations department.
Hillary along with other Democrats helped spread Chinese propaganda in hopes of hurting President Donald Trump’s reelection chances.
Thankfully, Congressman like Rep. Dan Crenshaw (Texas) combated Chinese apologists such as Hillary, firing back with his own tweet, defending the president’s coronavirus response.
He pointed out that President Trump took measures early on to combat the spread of COVID-19, citing travel restrictions the president imposed.
Denial? From the man who restricted travel in January & saved lives, while your party celebrated his impeachment?
You may be confusing him with the Washington Post, telling America to get a grip, that COVID19 wasn’t scary, & that we should be wary of an aggressive govt response. https://t.co/kVzeUFBckN pic.twitter.com/T7p0y1v2aq
