Why, you might ask, has the Biden campaign hired 600 lawyers ahead of the 2020 presidential election on November 3? Well, if you read left-leaning media sites, one might think that they are planning for a situation where President Trump refuses to leave the White House in the event he loses to Biden.
You might want to think again, and you only need listen to what Hillary Clinton said a week or two back to know exactly what the Democrats have in mind.
In an interview on Showtime’s “The Circus” (an appropriate name if there ever was one) last month, Clinton said:
“We’ve got to have a massive legal operation, and I know the Biden campaign is working on that.”
Hence, the 600 lawyers.
She continued, “Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances. Because I think that this is going to drag out, and eventually, I do believe, he will win, if we don’t give an inch and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is.”
Hillary Clinton has some advice for Joe Biden: Don’t concede in a close race.

The left of course is trying to make it look like it is Trump who is trying to “steal” the election. Examining some recent headlines, that is what they want everyone to think.
“The Left Secretly Preps for MAGA Violence after Election Day” was a recent headline on The Daily Beast. The Nation posed the question, “IS Trump Planning a Coup d’état?” Slate Magazine meanwhile asked:
“Is America in the Early Stages of Armed Insurgency?”
This brings us to something called the “Transition Integrity Project,” which is touted as a “bipartisan” group of so-called experts basically “war-gaming” various election scenarios.
The group consists of “former elected officials, high-level government staffers, consultants and journalists.” In other words, your basic group of Washington swamp dwellers whom President Trump has been trying to get rid of throughout the first three plus years of his term.
According to the executive summary explaining the “war games” scenario, the group claims it was founded “out of concern that the Trump Administration may seek to manipulate, ignore, undermine or disrupt the 2020 presidential election and transition process.”
Which, in light of the information that has come out of the hit job on former National Security Adviser Gen. Michael Flynn is pretty rich, considering it was the Democrats who actually carried out such a plot in 2016 against the Trump campaign.
This group of malcontents gamed out a scenario whereby one team was play acting the part of the Biden campaign, while others played the Trump campaign.
The simulations proposed that in the event of a close election, President Trump would “federalize the National Guard and take military control of state voting sites,” as David Frum, a left-wing hack reporter for The Atlantic wrote. Remember, this is supposed to be the “unbiased media” we keep hearing about.
The project gamed out a scenario similar to the 2016 election, where President Trump lost the popular vote, however won the Electoral College, which is how presidential elections have been conducted since the country was founded.
In this scenario, John Podesta, who was Clinton’s 2016 campaign chairman, and who was also a top adviser to both Bill Clinton and Obama, acted the role of Biden, with a little more mental acuity probably.
In the scenario played out, Ben Smith of the New York Times said that Podesta (Biden) refused to concede the election, while claiming the Democratic Party wouldn’t permit him to do so under the guise of “voter suppression.” The Democratic governors of Michigan and Wisconsin under this scenario would send only Biden electors to the Electoral College.
Under this play, “California, Oregon and Washington threatened to secede from the United States if Mr. Trump took office as planned,” wrote Smith (actually that isn’t a bad idea). “The House named Mr. Biden president; the Senate and White House stuck with Mr. Trump. At that point in the scenario, the nation stopped looking to the media for cues, and waited to see what the military would do.”
It’s interesting that the left is gaming out a scenario that Trump engaged in election meddling, since the current mail-in voter scheme, that has been breathlessly pushed by the Democrats and for which Nancy Pelosi is holding a coronavirus bill hostage, is ripe for the abuse the Democrats claim President Trump is trying to engage in. It’s absurd.
According to John David Daniel in The Federalist, the very “war game” that Podesta, Frum and the other left-wing loons are positing is virtually a modern-day version of the election of 1860, where they are playing the role of the South prior to the Civil War.
Prior to the election of Abraham Lincoln, so-called “moderate unionist” southern said their states would secede from the Union of the election didn’t go the right way. It was in a way attempted political blackmail, and after Lincoln was in fact elected, the Southern states followed through and seceded from the Union.
According to Daniel, the question that needed to be answered when the Southern states began to secede was if it was even constitutional for states to do that. For Lincoln and many other leaders in the North, it was an absolute necessity to determine “whether in a free government the minority have the right to break up the government whenever they choose.”
With apologies to our friends in California, Oregon, and Washington, given the current state of those three states (not referring to the fires, but the violence), losing those three states from the Union wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen. We are speaking tongue in cheek of course but dealing with absurdity by being absurd shows how dumb the idea is.
Daniel believes, and we agree that Democrats are engaging in the same type of high-end blackmail that the South engaged in during the 1860 election.
We are already seeing left-wing radicals tearing the country apart, and in fact Biden himself tipped the Democrat’s hand a couple of weeks back when he asked if people thought the violence would end if Trump were reelected. The answer is, probably not. Because Democrats and their minions will lose their minds.
