It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Black Superman! Because Nobody wanted it.
The character Superman is still flying high, as evidenced by the high ratings the new series “Superman & Lois” received when it premiered earlier this week on CW.
Woke Mob Takes On Superman
As our sister site TuskerDaily reported yesterday, Hasbro gave into the Progressive woke mob and did away with gender identification in their icon kids toy
Mr. Potato Head.
But the never satisfied ‘Woke’ mob has its sights set on transforming another Iconic American figure…Superman
Warner Bros., DC Comics, and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot production company are planning a reboot feature film, a rep from Warner Bros. told The Post.
the Atlantic’s racist black journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates is reportedly set to write the script. Hannah Minghella of Bad Robot will produce, though no director has been attached to the project yet.
“To be invited into the DC Extended Universe by Warner Bros., DC Films and Bad Robot is an honor,” said “Between the World and Me” author Coates in a statement to Shadow and Act. “I look forward to meaningfully adding to the legacy of America’s most iconic mythic hero.”
J.J. Abrams told the outlet:
“There is a new, powerful, and moving Superman story yet to be told. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with the brilliant Mr. Coates to help bring that story to the big screen, and we’re beyond thankful to the team at Warner Bros. for the opportunity.”
Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich also said in a statement to Shadow and Act.
“Ta-Nehisi Coates’ ‘Between the World and Me’ opened a window and changed the way many of us see the world.
We’re confident that his take on Superman will give fans a new and exciting way to see the Man of Steel.”
Michael B. Jordan Rumored To Play Black Superman
The “Superman” comic book series has previously featured a black title character, whose incognito name is Calvin Ellis (as opposed to Clark Kent).
In 2019, “Black Panther” actor Michael B. Jordan responded to rumors about possibly playing Black Superman in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
“It’s flattering … very humbling,” he said, adding that he worried taking on the role would mean “being picked apart and compared to so many different versions of Superman.”
However, when pressed by Winfrey, the self-described “comic book guy” said he would be open to playing the Calvin Ellis version.
“I think the comic book purists can accept that more than me being Clark Kent from Kansas. That’s a different thing.”
Superman Still Flying High
As we stated earlier the character of Superman is still flying high, as evidenced by the high ratings for the new “Superman & Lois” CW series
While CW has become a shitpile of wokeness with their woke Black Batwomen show, which ratings, like the acting, writing, and set design, are in the toilet.
Shockingly, Superman & Lois leaves all CW’s typical woke garbage in the trash can where it belongs.
As this latest telling of the iconic Superman story revolves around Superman/Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin )alongside his wife, Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) being stressed-out parents to twin teenage boys.
On television, the tights-and-cape-clad superhero also was played by a parade of actors, including
- 2001 – Tyler Hoechlin “Superman & Losi”
- 2001-2001 – Tom Welling “Smallville,” 2001 to 2011)
- 1993-1997 – Dean Cain “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”
And possibly the most iconic portrayal of Superman on the small screen, and the one who started it all.
- 1952-1958 – George Reeves “Adventures of Superman”
When will this woke idiocy end?
Only time will tell but as with CW’s Batwoman the more they try to push their woke stupidity, the bigger the pushback they’ll be.
