Only CNN’s Poppy Harlow (we hope) thinks that everyone who is at home making $600 a week in unemployment is just itching to go back to their 40-hour workweek in order to take home less money.
On Friday morning University of Chicago Professor Tomas Phillipson and former member of President Trump’s Council of Economic Advisers gave CNN Newsroom, co-host Poppy Harlow a lesson in basic economics.
As part of CNN’s ongoing attempt to undermine the new job report, and further their Trump hate agenda.
Pinhead Poppy Harlow Spews Her Liberal Logic
Ignoring the fact that Democrat governors are attempting to shut down their state’s economy once again, Harlow immediately downplayed the 1.8 million new hires created in July.
Despite Phillipson being an actual economist and stating that people are not going back to work due to them receiving more from unemployment insurance than their paychecks, Poppy Harlow wasn’t buying it.
The dumbfounded Harlow asked:
“I wonder what data you’re pointing to other than maybe your own hypothesis that people aren’t going to want to go to work if they’re making more at home?”
Of course, CNN needs a study, because, in the liberal loony-toon world, there’s no such thing as ‘common sense.’
