Of course, Gina Carano being likened to Hitler proves yet again that Godwin’s Law is as valid as any Isac Newton came up with.
Godwin’s law is an internet adage that declares ‘the longer an online discussion goes, the greater the probability that person gets compared to Hitler and/or a Nazi.’
But while woke Twitter is happy to compare conservative, or anyone speaking in a conservative tone, Gina Carano has just lost her job over it.
The BBC announced her firing by blaring:
Gina Carano dropped from Mandalorian after ‘abhorrent’ posts
So what was Gina Carano’s abhorrent post?
According to the BBC:
The former MMA fighter compared “hating someone for their political views” in the US to the treatment of Jewish people during the Holocaust in Nazi Germany.
Millions of Jewish people and other minorities were killed at the hands of the Nazis during World War Two.
Of course, not surprising, that’s not what she said when she posted on Instagram:
“Jews were beaten on the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors… even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that different from hating someone for their political views?”
Twitter Trend #WeLoveGinaCarano and #CancelDisneyPlus
This is absolutely pathetic to see a company the size of Disney bend the knee to a small group of mindless twitter idiots that would never even buy their products in the first place. I'd encourage everyone to share that #WeLoveGinaCarano https://t.co/VhGc6FsjZA

This isn’t the first time the Cancel Culture mob went after Carano. In August she was asked to show her support for BLM, because to the shock and horror of liberal leftists everywhere.
Gina Carano didn’t tweet out anything that showed support for BLM’s rioting, looting, and arson.
When she responded by saying:
“In my experience, screaming at someone that they are a racist when they are indeed NOT a racist & any post and/or research you do will show you those exact facts, then I’m sorry, these people are not ‘educators.’ They are cowards and bullies.”
If the left isn’t accusing you of being Hitler, or a Nazi, then you’re a racist. And that is exactly what the mob accused Gina Carano of being after reading her comment.
In Firing Gina Carano, Disney’s Proves They’re Massive Hypocrites
In a statement from a Lucasfilm representative, Carano will not be brought back as the popular character of Cara Dune on the Disney+ show The Mandalorian, which is the best-received Star Wars piece since the original trilogy.
Not only did Disney’s bending the knee to this small band of whining woke liberals it justifies exactly what Gina Carano had written.
Her firing also proves Disney’s massive amount of hypocrisy.
In the past, Disney and/or their subsidiaries have hired individuals that have made much more incendiary statements than Gina Carano.
- The writer for its Star Wars: The High Republic project made anti-white racist statements on her social media accounts.
- At Marvel comics, the current writer of Captain America is none other than Ta-Nehisi Coates, who infamously stated in his book Between the World and Me that he did not see 9/11 first responders as human beings.
- James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy, recently got his job back after he was fired for making some perverse jokes years ago.
In comparison to these three, what Carano’ had written is pretty tame, and certainly not worth losing her job over.
I have a sneaking suspicion that, like Gunn, Disney will one day realize that firing Carano was definitely not worth Disney+ losing thousands of subscribers who are more than happy to cancel their monthly subscription just on principle.

In a just world, Disney’s ‘wokeness’ costing them revenue combined with the support Carano received from Mandalorian director Jon Favreau and the cast, would mean that her character will return for the third season.
But as we’ve discovered this world is far from just.
if you look at Netflix and the losses its stocks took during the Cuties controversy. You’ll find that while its stock plunged from $400 a share to $263 in September 2020.
On Friday Netflix stocks reached an all-time high of $557 a share.
In the wake of Gina Carano’s firing will Disney see a drop from last Friday’s all-time record stock price of $191 a share? Almost certainly.
What’s also inevitable is that they will recover from this over the next six months, which means Disney’s woke idiocy will continue unabated.
The only way Disney’s ‘woke’ lunacy ends is:
- Conservative investors slam Disney’s stocks over the next few days.
- Jon Favreau and the Mandalorian cast publicly announce they refuse to move forward with season three until Disney reverses their imbecilic decision.
Of course, that second part will never happen, since Hollywood is made up of a bunch of spineless jellyfish who love to talk tough right up until the moment it’s time to walk the walk.
