Jacklyn Dellandre Leads Delaware State Police On Chase With Child In Vehicle

Delaware State Police arrested 37-year-old Jacklyn Dellandre of Laurel, Delaware on drug and related felony charges after she refused to pull over, and subsequently leading police on a pursuit.

The incident occurred on August 08, 2020, at approximately 11:10 a.m., when a Delaware State Trooper observed a silver Ford Focus traveling westbound on Laurel Road at a high rate of speed.

The trooper attempted to pull the car over, but Jacklyn Dellandre refused to stop the vehicle, instead, she fled onto Lone Cypress Road.

With the Police in hot pursuit, Dellandre eventually decided to pull the car over and she was arrested without incident.

After Dellandre exited the vehicle and was taken into custody, Troopers discovered a 15-year-old juvenile inside of the vehicle, who was thankfully unharmed.

A subsequent search of Jacklyn Dellandre’s vehicle led to the discovery of the following:

  • Approximately .43 grams of marijuana
  • Approximately 160 mg. of Methadone
  • Drug paraphernalia

State Troopers reported that since Dellandre showed signs of being impaired they launched a DUI investigation.

Jacklyn Dellandre was transported to the Delaware State Police, Troop 4 (Georgetown) in where she was charged with the following:

  • Disregarding a Police Officer Signal (Felony)
  • Endangering the Welfare of a Child While Driving Under the Influence
  • Driving a Vehicle Under the Influence of Drug
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Numerous Traffic Violations

Dellandre was arraigned and released on a $4,006 unsecured bond.

According to Jacklyn Dellandre’s Facebook page, she’s single and was originally from Levittown, Pennsylvania but now lives in Laurel, Delaware.

Setting aside what the Delaware State Troopers discovered inside her vehicle.

Just comparing her Facebook photos to her mug shot, and it’s safe to assume Jacklyn Dellandre has a severe drug problem that hopefully, she can now get some help to overcome.
