As America experienced its second deadliest day since the COVID-19 pandemic began, with 3,400 deaths, President-Elect Joe Biden gave hope to America by screeching the ‘darkest days’ are still ahead.

The map data, which is included in the latest community report from the White House COVID-19 Task Force, tracks areas of concern on a county level across the country based on recent cases and testing history.

America’s Coronavirus Hot Spots

America COVID hot spots

It shows that every state currently has counties that fall into the ‘sustained hotspot’ category, which means the task force classifies them as communities that have a high number of cases and may be at an even higher risk of overwhelming their local hospitals.

In the past month, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska were among the worst affected states. But according to the map, they’re now considered to be areas with moderate COVID-19 activity.

Meanwhile, the map also shows that hard-hit California, as well as large portions of the Midwest, Northeast, and South, continue to remain sustained COVID hotspots.

With 3,401 Americans tragically dying on Tuesday, it marks the fifth time daily deaths from COVID-19 have surpassed the 3,000 deaths mark, all of which have occurred this month.

Tuesday also became the second-highest deadliest day after December 16 when 3,600 deaths were recorded.

The nationwide seven-day average for daily deaths now stands at 2,702, which is the highest ever recorded.

The number of people hospitalized with the virus has also hit a new record with 117,777 patients currently being treated across the country.

Joe Biden Inspires America: ‘Our Darkest Days Are Still Ahead’

The rising number of deaths and hospitalizations, as well as the threat of a new UK strain of COVID that is thought to be already here, have many American’s paralyzed with fear.

But fear not America, Joe Biden is here to comfort you by warning the worst could still be yet to come.

‘Here is the simple truth: Our darkest days in the battle against COVID are ahead of us, not behind us,’

‘So we need to prepare ourselves, to steel our spines.

‘As frustrating as it is to hear, it’s going to take patience, persistence, and determination to beat this virus. There will be no time to waste in taking the steps we need to turn this crisis around.’

WOW! What an inspiring message from our supposed President-Elect during this season of hope and joy.

Just spit ballin’ here, Joe

But wouldn’t have been just a wee bit more inspirational to say something like….

This pandemic has extracted a heavy toll on our nation, with the last few weeks being the costliest.

I, along with all American’s mourn the death of so many of our brothers and sisters, and while many of us fear these dark days will never end.

Take comfort in knowing that it will end!

With scientific breakthroughs such as the recently developed COVID-19 vaccine, this darkness will abate, and once again the light will shine upon us all.

But until that joyous day arrives, we must put aside our differences and come together as one nation, and one people, to support and comfort each other through these most trying times.

Granted, this message was a quick first draft, but even so, it still sounds a hell of a lot better than Joe Joe Biden’s message of doom and despair.
