When President-elect Joe Biden announced his intention to nominate Rep. Deb Haaland to lead the Department of the Interior he robbed poor Native American Elizabeth Warren of making history.
Unlike the Democrats and their mainstream media cohorts screeching that Kamala Harris being the first person of color to serve as vice president.
The fact is Kamala Harris will be the second, since Republican Charles Curtis, a Native American served four years as Herbert Hoover’s vice president from 1929 to 1933.
But Rep. Deb Haaland (D., N.M.) founder of Pueblo Salsa, will indeed make history as the first Native American to serve in a senior cabinet position.
Many had expected Biden to make history by tapping America’s foremost Native American politician, Sen. Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas’ Warren (D., Mass.), for a senior cabinet post.
Warren, the media touted ‘first woman of color to teach at Harvard Law School.’
Joe Biden Scalps Native American Elizabeth Warren
Except for her pale white complexation, Warren was clearly the more qualified candidate.
Biden’s choice may have been motivated by hurt feelings over Warren’s attacks on him during the Democratic primary.
Of course, it also could have been that Joe Biden didn’t think Pocahontas had the time to lead the Department of the Interior, since she may be called upon at a moment’s notice to pick up her kids from public school.
Or maybe Biden’s transition team learned that Pocahontas was pregnant?
Either way, Joe Biden tomahawked Elizabeth Warren chance to make Native American history.
An anonymous source told TuskerDaily that when Warren found out that Joe Biden chose Haaland, and not her, she allegedly replied
‘Joe Biden, is just another white man who gets to hang another redskin scalp on his patriarchy wall at my Native American expense’
