Blundering Kamala Harris Posts Disrespectful Memorial Day Tweet
Kamala Harris Posts Disrespectful Memorial Day Tweet

Kamala Harris confirmed her mental midget status by posting a Memorial Day weekend tweet that failed to acknowledge the sacrifice made by our military’s brave men and women, instead, she tweeted “Enjoy the long weekend.”

The four words plus her inclusion of a smiling photo of herself on a MEMORIAL DAY tweet were more than enough to send Kamala Harris to the top of Twitter’s trending list, and not in a good way.

American’s blasted Harris for not acknowledging the true meaning of Memorial Day.

“Is this intended to insult the memory of the fallen? Because that’s how it reads,” National Review’s Kyle Smith, a veteran, tweeted in response.

Conservative pundit Robby Starbuck added:

“I know you think the ‘long weekend’ is a chance to post a pic of yourself and get some mimosas as you plan to rip our country apart but it’s actually a time to appreciate the brave soldiers who died for our country & to reflect on the LIFETIME their families spend without them,”

Others similarly targeted Kamala Harris for her blatantly “disrespectful” tweet.

But once Kamala Harris’ handlers realized why she trending.

They attempted to do a little damage control by having their clueless VP tweet:

“Throughout our history, our service men and women have risked everything to defend our freedoms and our country. As we prepare to honor them on Memorial Day, we remember their service and their sacrifice,”

America wasn’t buying what Kamala Harris was selling.

Of course, there’s ample evidence for why America doubted her sincerity.

Harris’ Memorial Day tweet was just the latest public flub she’s made in relation to the military.

During a recent commencement speech for graduates at the US Naval Academy.

Kamala Harris joked about naval engineers turning to green energy, called climate change a “threat to national security.”

And lest we forget, to the groans of many, Harris tried doing a little gender pandering as well.

“Just ask any marine today, would she rather carry 20 pounds of batteries or a rolled-up solar panel, and I am positive she will tell you a solar panel, and so would he,”
