Control of the U.S. Senate will come down to the outcome of the two Senate runoff races in Georgia. With the Senate majority leadership within his reach, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has declared, “Now we take Georgia, and then we change America.”

Coming to America 2 actress and Supermarket Sweep host Leslie Jones helped lead a fundraising event for Georgia Democrat candidates Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, during which she seemed to suggest that the pair give her a kind of hope in the political process that’s reminiscent of Martin Luther King, Jr. and John F. Kennedy.

Leslie Jones exclaimed during the video event on Wednesday, which featured the two candidates, Warnock and Ossoff, as well as Jones, actress and left-wing activist Alyssa Milano, and Supernatural star Mischa Collins.

“I’m 53 years old. I’ve been through a lot of presidencies. I lost hope along the way because I was like there’s not going to be another Kennedy, there’s not going to be another Martin Luther King.”

Wow, Leslie Jones kicks Obama’s black ass to the curb!

Jones later added:

“When I was watching you guys last night, I had a really deep sense of hope. I felt like, ‘Oh wow, if they get in, they’re going to fight for us.’ For a long time, I hadn’t felt that.

Even when Obama got in, it was wonderful. It was a wonderful moment.

But I knew Obama was going to face people who wasn’t going to let him do what he needed to do.

And That’s when I started learning about Senate stuff.”

Thanks, Leslie,  For confirming what many have suspected, and what I consider the worst kept secret in wherever “B” actors currently congregate…That you, Leslie Jones, are an uneducated, lying dolt.

Leslie Jones Learn A Little History…And Not That Revisionist Kind The Democrats Are Always Spewing

If Leslie Jones actually learned about “Senate stuff” she would have discovered that for almost the first 2-years of Obama’s presidency the Democrats held a 59-41 majority in the senate.

In fact, for a 4-month period, I suspect Obama went to sleep each night worry-free knowing the Democrat-controlled Senate had filibuster proof 60-vote majority.

Yes, it’s a myth that Obama had a filibuster-proof Senate for ‘almost the first two years of his administration, but he did have one for a 4-month period.

After Senator Ted Kennedy had a seizure at Obama’s inauguration, but the old murderer never returned to the Senate.

The truth is, for most of those first two-years Obama and the Democrats held a simple majority (59-41).

But after Kennedy died on August 25th, 2009, his seat was filled by Paul Kirk (D) on September 24th, 2009.

So from September 24th, 2009 until February 4, 2010, when Republican Scott Brown was sworn after winning his special election. The Democrats, did, in fact, have a fillibuster proof 60 votes majority in the Senate.

While some would argue that it was a short amount of time. Nevertheless, the Democrats’ excuse that Republicans stopped Obama from accomplishing what he wanted is an egregious lie.

During that four-month period, the Democrats had full control of the Presidency, the House and the Senate and could have passed whatever legislation they desired during that time period.

Oh, and by the way, if Leslie Jones wants to further her education, She could start by reading a little history on her beloved JFK.

In today’s woke Democratic party, John F. Kennedy would be one of those supply-side, tax-cutting Republicans they hate so much.
