The media’s double standard is once again on display when it comes to their over-the-top TDS reporting of then-President Donald Trump and their now laz-a-faire coverage of President Joe Biden.

The media’s four years of hypercritical — and often hypocritical — coverage of President Trump was laughable more times than not.

But the kerfuffle over Trump’s June 14, 2020, uneasy descent of a ramp after speaking at the West Point graduation ceremony, and Joe Biden stumbling and bumbling his way up the stairs of Air Force one this morning is a perfect example of the media’s double standard coverage.

The media reporting over Trump gingerly descending the ramp at West Point was ‘alarming’ to say the least.

According to the New York Times, Trump’s ramp descent raised “new questions about his health,”

Media’s Double Standard Reporting

CNN’s coverage of Donald Trump gingerly walking down the West Point ramp was more egregious than most mainstream media news networks.

CNN ‘New Day’ spent over 7-minutes questioning Donald Trump’s health status.

Please note Alisyn Camerota laughably describing the ramp as ‘Gently Sloping’:

In fact, the seven-minute plus long segment that ‘CNN New Day‘ spent analyzing the 25-second video was longer than the TOTAL COMBINED TIME the Clown News Network spent reporting on:

Of course, CNN, and The New York Times weren’t alone in their Trump Derangement Susyndrom reporting, that spawned the creation of the hashtag #RampGate.

  • MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow posted on Facebook that Trump’s calculated gait “generated a new round of questions” and that his explanation of a slippery ramp “appeared to be untrue.”
  • The Atlantic screeched that instead of focusing on the president’s struggle to descend a ramp but his lack of medical transparency makes it difficult to give a diagnosis.
  • Yahoo News reported that new concerns have been raised concerning President Trump’s health after a video showed him looking unsteady while walking down a ramp
  • The Independent reported The president has spent several days defending his walk after a critical week amid rising Health Concerns.
  • CNN Follow Up Reporting about Donald Trump can’t stop talking about that West Point ramp

Incredibly, of all the fake news media outlets, The Washington Post defended Trump’s cautious stroll down the West Point ramp. And as you know WaPo is no MAGA supporter.

Which WaPo 100% confirmed this week after getting exposed for blatantly lying in their reporting that the former President told Georgia election investigators ‘to find the fraud‘ and if they did they would be granted hero status.

Media Obama, and Now Biden Double Standard

Contrast Trump’s Rampgate with the media double standard coverage of President Barack Obama and now Joe Biden, and it’s like night and day.

Obama slipped and almost fell on the stairs of Air Force One while president, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton faceplanted as she entered Air Force One, but while they made the news, they didn’t become a national ‘Breaking News’ story.

In fact, CNN made light of the slip and slide Air Force One stairs in their pre-Trump age reporting:

Media’s Double Standard Hillary Vs Trump Vs Biden

The media’s double standard reporting becomes even more obvious when compared with how Hillary Clinton’s health was treated.

Hillary fainting which the media described as a “stumble’ at a 9/11 memorial became a ‘How Dare You Question Her Health’ media outrage report once her campaign said she was being treated for pneumonia.

This brings us to Joe Biden stumbling and bumbling not once, not twice but three times trying to navigate those tricky Air Force One slip n’ slide stairs.

The one report CNN did write about Joe Biden stumbling around like a drunken sailor, spent a majority of the article on how windy the weather was:

White House principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said “So, as you know, it’s pretty windy outside, it’s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself,”

Or CNN including paragraphs such as this:

Dr. Kevin O’Connor, who has been Biden’s primary care doctor since 2009 and is the director of executive medicine at The George Washington Medical Faculty Associates, wrote at the time that Biden is “a healthy, vigorous” man “who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.”

The one thing that CNN, nor any other mainstream media news outlet who reported on Joe Biden falling did was question the health status of 78-year-old President Joe Biden.
