In a New York Post exclusive Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo’s top aide privately apologizes to Democratic lawmakers for Cuomo’s Nursing Home COVID Death Toll Cover-up.
The stunning admission of a cover-up was made by Secretary to the Governor Melissa DeRosa during a video conference call telling state Democratic leader that “we froze” out of fear the true numbers would “be used against us” by federal prosecutors.
The Cuomo administration had rebuffed a legislative request for the tally in August because “right around the same time, [then-President Donald Trump] turns this into a giant political football,” according to an audio recording of the two-hour-plus meeting.
Cuomo Should Be Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter.
Involuntary manslaughter is defined as an unintentional killing that results either from criminal negligence or the commission of a low-level criminal act such as a misdemeanor.
Involuntary manslaughter is distinguished from other forms of homicide because it does not require deliberation or premeditation, or intent.
President Trump not only ordered the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to transform New York City’s Jacob Javits center into an emergency hospital ward and also ordered the USNS Comfort to NYC.
While the USNS Comfort was never meant to take on Coronavirus patients, nor most ICU patients.
Trump ordered the floating hospital to NYC in order to make an additional 1,000 beds available for other medical conditions that would, in turn, free up Hospital beds for Coronavirus victims.
Cuomo used neither to its potential instead he continued to send elderly New Yorkers to their death in ill-prepared nursing homes all because he and the Democrats didn’t want Trump to receive credit.

Governor Cuomo and his administration must be investigated from top to bottom and he must be stripped of his emergency powers.
Justice needs to be brought for the grieving families who have been ignored to protect Governor Cuomo and his Democrat allies in the Legislature. pic.twitter.com/N4B2c77u3w

To continual defenders of @NYGovCuomo how is this ok?

"Politically motivated" is premium-grade red-herring spin, in this context.
Your admin made a decision to lie about the numbers, and you're out of excuses so you're pointing at Trump. It's nonsense, and you know it.
Tick tock, Rich. https://t.co/sGbsHsDCi1

This timeline is revisionist history.
DOJ opened its investigation on 8/26. Trump tweeted about Cuomo and nursing homes on 9/3.
By that time, Zucker & Cuomo had been stonewalling questions for months, including at a legislative hearing on Aug. 3. https://t.co/NckA2FJDHL pic.twitter.com/wYXwM75F0G

Remember when Cuomo said that incompetent government was the reason for unnecessary COVID deaths?
This man's political career should be shredded and burned until there is nothing left.
