Former President Barack Obama has pointed the finger at the media and social networks, arguing they are to blame for the growing divisions among Americans.

While heaping praise on the current president during a Monday interview. Obama condemned media outlets for polarizing the American people.

Not surprisingly, Obama blamed those who watch Fox News because they “perceive a different reality.”

Despite the divide, he said President Joe Biden is well equipped to bridge the gap between the two.

The former president argued that the country has been torn apart by a “combination of political, cultural, ideological and geographical divisions.”

Obama insisted that when he first ran for office America was far more unified.

In the time since preexisting yet benign differences have been magnified by social media.

Claiming that this has allowed social media users to live in their own bubbles with like-minded people and avoid considering other views.

However, Obama himself can hardly be considered blameless for America’s race to the bottom.

After all, Obama was so petty and vindictive, he refused to even utter ex-President Donald Trump’s name while Trump was in office.

Blaming Fox News isn’t shocking for Obama.

Obama despised Fox News from the moment they brought the ‘birther’ conspiracy to the mainstream.

In his eyes, it supposedly fueled the Republicans spending his two terms in office blocking whatever legislation he could bring to the floor.

Of course, the reality is, Obama’s own party’s Blue Dog Democrats were far more responsible for thwarting his radical left agenda than the Republicans were during his first two years in office.

Obama’s Both Right, and Wrong. Obama Blames America

Obama nevertheless encouraged Americans from all sides of the political spectrum to come together and curb-stomp “fake news,” lest it pushes them irreversibly into an echo chamber from which there is no escape.

I find it somewhat amusing that when Former President Donald Trump coined the phrase “Fake News.” Obama and his ilk pulled out their soapboxes to scream “How Dare You!”

But, now that a Democrat is occupying the White House. They seem to have no problem screaming, “We must stop FAKE NEWS!’

Obama went on to essentially warned that failure to cut off alternative sources of information would fracture the fragile American democracy many might argue was already broken.

“Until we can agree on a common set of facts until we can distinguish between what’s true and what’s false, then the marketplace of ideas won’t work. Our democracy won’t work,”

The problem for Obama is the fact that it’s not Fox News dividing the country, it’s the industry as a whole.

I chuckle every time I hear Obama mention the ‘birther’ conspiracy, which hysterically, depending on your point of view, was either started by or at worse, helped along by Hillary Clinton.

But in comparison to the 4-year long ‘Russiagate,’ every single major media outlet pushed, the Birther controversy didn’t even make a blip on the radar.

But if you need a more direct example, then look no further than “Kids In Cages“.

  • Obama, Built the Cages…Media: Obama has been the most compassionate in American History.
  • Trump, continues using the cages Obama built…Media: Trump is the second coming of Hitler.
  • Biden: Reopens the Obama/Trump migrant kids camps…Media: In Bethesda, Maryland today, A dog hunt is underway for a lost puppy who ran out the front door of an 89-year-old grandmother’s home early this morning.

Needless to say, there are literally thousands of Trump-Hate fake news that I could document. But at this point, if you’re not aware of them, there’s little hope for you.

Obama Pushes For an Orwellian 1984

Obama sounded for all the world like the New York Times’ recent call for the Biden administration to appoint a reality czar – an idea that prompted comparisons with George Orwell’s Ministry of Truth.

“As citizens, we need to push our institutions in the direction of addressing these challenges,”

Not bothering to question the ethical repercussions of such a move – which would essentially make citizens complicit in their own political ‘reprogramming’.
