Apparently, the Democrats’ woke Senator Raphael Warnock and supposed Baptist minister wasn’t satisfied with the traditional meaning of Easter which is ‘Jesus Christ died to save us from our sins, and that Easter celebrates his resurrection
Despite this Meaning of Easter being a cornerstone of the Christian faith. It didn’t match Warnock’s leftist worldview.
In an Easter Sunday tweet, Warnock took it upon himself to changed the traditional meaning of Easter from “He Is Risen” to his woke version of ‘people can save themselves by helping others.’
“The meaning of Easter is more transcendent than the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” Mr. Warnock tweeted. “Whether you are a Christian or not, through a commitment to helping others we are able to save ourselves.”
Because Warnock Believed In His Woke Easter Message So Much…He Deleted It!
After several hours of being lambasted on Twitter as a “phony pastor” and “false teacher” and for promoting “false doctrine,” “blasphemy” and “unbiblical theology.”
And because Warnock believed in his new woke Easter message with every fiber of his being, in typical Democrat fashion, Warnoker deleted his stupidity.
Because as you know, if a Democrat deletes one of their imbecilic tweets…then it never existed.
Of Course, Democrats Like Raphael Warnock Still Haven’t grasp the concept of screenshots.
Warnock Berated For His Woke Reimagining of the ‘Meaning Of Easter’
Former ESPN producer Jason Romano responded to Warnock’s now-deleted tweet: “With all due respect, this is literally the opposite of what the Gospel says. Ephesians 2 states that clearly. Faith alone, Christ alone,”:

Love God, Love others. We should always help others. But man that's now how we're saved. Romans, Ephesians, the Gospels all make it clear we can't save ourselves. If we could, then Jesus dying on the cross for nothing.

Christian theologian Kyle J. Howard tweeted: “A pastor should know better than this, I have to believe @ReverendWarnock does know better. Christian ministers MUST avoid social pressures on both sides of the spectrum & not give in. We are saved by Faith alone & Easter IS about Christ who is God & therefore transcendent.”

Jenna Ellis, a former Colorado Christian University professor, and Trump 2020 campaign legal adviser, called Mr. Warnock’s message “false gospel and heresy. We cannot save ourselves.”
This is a false gospel and heresy. We cannot save ourselves.
The absolute truth and only meaning of Easter that matters is the literal, physical resurrection of Jesus Christ, and we must accept Him as Lord and Savior.
Read Romans, “Reverend” Warnock. You are a false teacher. https://t.co/dRVz0LdKGu

Pastor Darrell Scott New Spirit Revival Center nsrcministries.org labeled Warnock a clown
So this clown is saying that the blood of Jesus Christ was not necessary for salvation ; that all we have to do is commit to helping “others” and we can save ourselves. Smh pic.twitter.com/dRLM0YKQVQ

Absolutely. He is a false teacher. Jesus said better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone around their neck than to lead people astray. (Luke 17:2)

Woke Twitter Mob Attack Jenna Ellis Because…Reasons
MSNBC’s racist homophobe host Joy Reid rebuked Jenna Ellis for challenging Warnock’s woke interpretation.
“This lady is literally calling the pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church — The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s church — a heretic. This actually happened today.
Madame, I’m gonna take @ReverendWarnock’s take, as a pastor and a scholar on the Word over yours, if you don’t mind.”

The cancel culture also pounced on Ellis using Joy Reid’s liberal logic that Jenna Ellis is the devil because she had the audacity to call Raphael Warnock, the Ebenezer Baptist pastor of The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s church, on the anniversary of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination.
If only this happened in 2020 when Easter was celebrated on April 12th or next year on April 17th, it would have been ‘Unicorns Farting Rainbows’ in liberal La la land?
But since it happened on April 4th…Jenna Ellis Is GOING TO H-E-Double Hockey Sticks!!!
I’m really curious where in your brain you thought it was appropriate to address the REVERAND PASTOR of Dr. King’s church on the anniversary of Dr.King’s death like that? Because the entire disrespect on any other day is insufferable but today it is just disgusting.

Calling the pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, on Easter Sunday, the anniversary of MLK’s assassination is a Fast Past to all lines leading to hell

But the majority of the liberal left attacked Jenna Ellis because according to their Liberal Logic…Christianity Stole Easter from the Pagans
Every year when the cherry blossoms start to bloom, Chocolate bunnies start hopping off store shelves, and people start to claim that somehow the waistband around the shorts they wore last year unexplainably shrunk…you know it’s Easter time.
And just in time for Holy Week comes the left regurgitating one of their oldies but goodies that “Easter” was stolen from the Pagans by those evil Christians.
According to the mentally challenged left Easter was originally a celebration of the ancient Near Eastern fertility goddess Ishtar.
This is perhaps the most misinformed idiocy the uneducated left spews this time of year.
The short answer is No.
As Christianity spread and Pagans converted they simply kept the name Easter which Christians originally called Pascha/Passover which is a Jewish holiday, In the Gospels Jesus tells his disciples at the last supper to remember his death (which happened on Passover)
But But But according to the left Easter and Ishtar sound similar so Christians stole it?
There is absolutely no evidence of any connection between the two words.
In fact, the evidence points to the word Easter coming from an Old English word meaning white (usually Ēastrun, –on, or –an; but also as Ēastru, –o; and Ēastre or Ēostre.)
But I digress
Your really hateful! And tou really don’t know your history. Easter began as a pagan holiday that celebrated the spring in the northern hemisphere. Christian’s adopted pagan festivals to their faith to attract more followers. Check out Genesis 6-9 in the bible.
— Bonnie Moretti (@BonnieMoretti) April 4, 2021
Odd. Perhaps you have no knowledge of the pagan roots of Easter all over the world, but more specifically in Western civilization, more specifically the holiday called “Ostara,” corresponding with the Vernal Equinox/Spring. Eggs=promise of new life, rabbits=fertility, birds=soul.
— Kristin Knowles (@mamasana333) April 5, 2021
Easter-Astarte-Ostara- you can’t even come up with an original term for the season. Stolen from the religions before. Get your own damn term!
— Kate Blake (@KateBlake5) April 5, 2021
Except that Easter is a pagan holiday that the Church adopted to get more pagans into their control.
Unless you have a scripture that talks about Astarte and the fertility symbol of a rabbit somehow being associated with Jesus?
— Tribblernibble (@tribblenibble) April 5, 2021
Except for the fact that Easter is named after a pagan fertility goddess, whose symbols were rabbits and eggs, and was celebrated the first day of Spring.
OTHER THAN THAT…totally Christian.
— Richard Rowe for Congress (@ReforgeAmerica) April 4, 2021
Jenna Ellis didn’t hold back in responding to the Twitter mob who miraculously had conveniently forgotten all about their spending years attacking Pastors, Reverends, Priests, and any other religious leaders they could spew their leftist ideology at.
LOL twitter is trying so hard to troll me over saying no Christians worship Trump. Their big proof is the golden statue of Trump at CPAC.
No Christians worshipped that or prayed to it.
Apparently MSM doesn’t know the definition of “worship.”
PS. Warnock is still a heretic.
