Remember how for weeks the media were hyperventilating over New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo declaring that President Trump would be responsible for not giving New York the 30,000 ventilators they demanded?
Remember how the media cried “NYC hospitals will be facing massive shortages of ventilators as we head into what Trump himself has declared ‘America’s Deadliest Week’ all because President Trump has mismanaged the coronavirus crisis”
Yea, they seemed to have forgotten all about their Trump-Hate Coronavirus hyperbole.
Cuomo and The Media Act Like It Never Happened
As we reported on March 23, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo screeched that New York City hospitals were just 10 days [April 2nd] from running out of “really basic supplies.”
This was followed up by NYC’s moronic Mayor, Bill de Blasio spewing that NYC was facing a potentially deadly dearth of ventilators to treat those infected by the coronavirus.
On March 31st, we reported President Trump saying that based on the data he didn’t feel that New York needed 30,000 ventilators.
But despite his feeling, Trump assured America that the Fed’s had almost 10,000 in stock which would be shipped immediately if NYC required them.
President Trump also called out Cuomo for storing thousands of unused ventilators in a warehouse, while simultaneously screaming they needed more:
“We sent thousands of ventilators to New York, and they didn’t know about it at the time they were complaining,”
“They were going there in large numbers.”
After hearing President Trump’s statement an outraged New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo huffed and puffed that what Trump stated was “incorrect and grossly uninformed.”
Cuomo then went on to declare that in about 21 days [April 20th], New York will need 30,000 ventilators for critically ill coronavirus patients.
Right on cue, the media pounced on President Trump’s ‘Feelings’ and immediately started pushing their fake news Trump-Hate propaganda, hoping to create fear that the federal and the state stockpile of ventilators would not be enough.
O course, the media ran with Cuomo’s hyperbole and implied that due to President Donald Trump’s supposed incompetence, tens of thousands of New Yorkers are now facing death due to the shortage of ventilators.
EIGHT DAYS LATER…
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced during his Monday press conference that he’s comfortable with the number of ventilators in his state.
Cuomo said to reporters.
“We don’t need any additional ventilators right now,”
What about all those weeks of Andrew Cuomo gaslighting America about New York’s supposed ventilator shortage?
NOW Cuomo is saying he has no concerns of a ventilator shortage.
“There is no hospital that needs ventilators that doesn’t have ventilators, there is no hospital that needs PPE (personal protective equipment) that doesn’t have it in the state system,”
The New York governor asserted that even though the hospitals were at “red line” capacity, he felt that the state was successful in managing resources.
“Are we managing this situation that best that can be managed, yes, have we lost anyone who we could have saved, I don’t believe so,”
“With that, we can sleep at night.”
When time proves President Trump 100% correct, Democrats and the media shuts up.
Of course, Andrew Cuomo didn’t acknowledge that President Trump was spot on when he said he felt, based on the data, that New York would not need 30,000 ventilators that cost upwards of 50,000 dollars EACH to purchase!
And don’t hold your breath waiting for any mainstream media’s mea culpa’s for spewing their ‘We’re All Gonna Die Because Of Trump‘ coronavirus Trump-Hate.
