As Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey forewarned Twitter’s Conservative Purge is now in high gear leaving 75 percent of Senate Republicans losing tens of thousands of followers seemingly overnight.
As TuskerDaily has been reporting over the past week, Since the Capitol Hill riots, Twitter has led Big Tech’s ‘Social Media Purge of Conservative voices‘.
Twitter was the first social media site to silence President Donald Trump after they permanently banned him from voicing his opinions.
Since then, every major social media platform followed suit by either outright banning the President, or limiting his account until after Biden’s inauguration (so they say).
But as we reported earlier Facebook has quietly restored the page of President Trump along with his profile on Instagram. But of now, there has been no activity on either account.
Twitter’s Conservative Purge Continues
Not only have Republican politicians lost thousands of followers.
Even more amazingly, well, considering it’s Twitter we’re talking about maybe it’s not so amazing.
Democrat politicians seem to be gaining followers at an astonishing rate.
Over the past 2 weeks many of the big winners on the left have been:
- Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar whose up more than 70,000 followers.
- Massachusetts’ faux Indian Elizabeth Warren, as Pocahontas gained 80,000 followers.
- Despite two being the bridesmaids in the past two Democratic presidential primaries, Bernie Sanders somehow gained a whopping 350,000 twittering twits.
- While Vice President-elect ‘You Ain’t Black’ Kamala Harris led all Democrats by adding 1.3 million delusional Democrats to her total followers.
As far as President-Elect Joe Biden, sleepy Joe was forced to start from zero after Twitter refused to transfer over the more than 33 million followers from President Trump’s official @POTUS account.
The account now has about 850,000 followers.
A review by the New York Post of all 100 Senate accounts showed that only two Democrats, California’s Dianne Feinstein, and Arizona’s Kyrsten Sinema, lost followers over the past 30 days.
Jack Was Right ‘Trump’s Only The Beginning’ of Twitters Great Right-Wing Purge
As TuskerDaily reported, Project Veritas, leaked a video on Thursday showing Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey informing his cult-like liberal Twitter employees that the war on Conservatives has only just begun, saying:
“We are focused on one account right now, but this is going to be much bigger than just one account, and it’s going to go on for much longer than just this day, this week, and the next few weeks, and go on beyond the inauguration.
Apparently, Jack was right about Twitter’s’ Great Republican Purge‘.
Among Republicans, some of the biggest losers were:
- Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who was off 45,000.
- Iowa’s Chuck Grassley, down more than 50,000.
- Florida’s Marco Rubio, who was down 78,000.
- South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, led all Republican losers with a decline of more than 112,000 followers.
While leftists will claim that the drop was simply part of the aftermath of President Trump’s permanent suspension from the platform.
This may be partly true since an unknown number of Trump MAGA supporters likely bolted to sites such as Parler.
Of course, that was before Big Tech set their sights on the Conservative Free Speech social media platform and expunged them from the internet.
More likely the Republican losses, combined with Democrat gains are most likely due to Twitter taking more aggressive measures toward Conservative accounts.
Something that Twitter confirmed today when they stated since the Capitol chaos had taken place, the social media giant was indeed focusing more on eliminating “undesirable accounts“.
On Monday the company revealed they had eradicated more than 70,000 accounts that were, according to Twitter, associated with the QAnon conspiracy theory.
NYU professor Mark Crispin Miller, who is currently suing his colleagues after he says they libeled him for raising questions about wearing face masks, said QAnon was largely a “pretext for censorship.”
“We’re living through a really dangerous period right now in which free speech is under concerted attack across the board.
Since January 6th, it has primarily affected people on the right.
What we’re witnessing is the transformation of the western internet by corporations and the state into a forum much more like China’s internet.
In China it’s just a given when you’re online you’re under surveillance and can be punished for dissident expression.”
Twitter declined to comment on Professor Miller’s accusations.
